Research groups

To support its positions and demands, the QMC consults research groups specialized in sectors like economics, industrial relations, politics and the environment. Here are some of them:

Founded in 1999, the Institut de recherche en économie contemporaine (IREC) is an independent scientific organization devoted to enhancing the public debate by producing rigorous research and by conducting animation and training activities that promote the development of skills in the economic field.

The Institute for Research and Socio-Economic Information (IRIS) is a non-profit, independent and progressive institute founded in 2000. It generates and publishes research on the major issues of the day, such as public financial management, the climate and environmental crisis, the marketisation of education and health, and the growth of inequality.

Institut Broadbent

The Broadbent Institute is an independent, non-partisan organization that works to document and share progressive ideas in the economic, social and environmental fields.

The Center for Interuniversity Research on Globalization and Work is an interdisciplinary center whose research activities focus on the theoretical and practical challenges of institutional and organizational renewal in work and employment in an era of globalization.
